Our Greater Mankato CEO young professionals toured Pioneer Bank today for the first business visit of the year!
The tour was led by CEO David Krause who recently celebrated 40 years with the bank. Pioneer Bank expanded in 2020 by opening a branch at the intersection of Adams St. and Victory Dr., and this is the location we toured today.
Pioneer Bank supports local communities through numerous philanthropy projects and by providing a dedicated meeting space available to the community. The bank has already hosted over 2,000 community events! Have you held a meeting at Pioneer Bank? Tell us about it in the comments!
It was eye-opening for our group to see that a bank is much more than a checking or savings account. We talked to people working in lending, credit analysis, marketing, IT, frontline customer service, and more!
These are just a few of the team members we connected with today:
🔸 We met Eric Poppler, VP of Credit Analysis (and co-owner of Beans Coffee Co.), and heard from his team about how essential their role is in making the best decisions for the customer.
🔸 Duane Olenius, Chief Relationship Officer, walked us through the lending process and the steps Pioneer takes to meet regulatory guidelines.
🔸 Laken Miller, Marketing Specialist, shared how Pioneer tells its story by putting people front and center.
It was inspiring to see that behind every transaction is a team of people - each with different skills and roles - working together.
Thank you to Mr. Krause and the whole Pioneer Bank team for such a warm welcome!
